JARDINIÈRE PRINTANIÈRE
250 g (0,55 lbs) new potatoes, 500 g (1,1 lbs) peas, 1 bunch new carrots, 1/2 bunch turnips, 1 lettuce, 150 g (0,33 lbs) beans greens, 40 g (0,088 lbs) of butter, salt, pepper, chopped parsley, 1 large spoonful of fresh cream.
In a Mijotin, put the butter. When it is melted but not golden, add the peas, green beans, turnips, carrots.
Stir well, add lettuce, salt, pepper, a glass of water, chopped parsley.
Cook gently for about 20 minutes.
Add diced potatoes (or whole if they are small).
Cook for another 35 minutes, gradually adding boiling water if necessary.
Out of the fire, bind the vegetables with the cream and serve in the stew.
To save time, the potatoes can be boiled while the vegetables cook separately, add them to the vegetables as soon as they are cooked and finish cooking together for about 10 minutes.
