CERISES OU FRAMBOISES OU FRAISES A L'EAU DE VIE

 


For 1 jar:

1 kg (2,2 LBS) of cherries or 1 kg (2,2 LBS) of raspberries or 1 kg (2,2 LBS) of strawberries, 1 liter of fruit brandy, 250 g (0,55 LBS) of Granulated sugar.


Wash the cherries without removing the tails or gently wash the raspberries or strawberries.

 Cut each tail (for cherries) in the middle using scissors.

Sponge the cherries, raspberries or strawberries in a clean tea towel.

Store the cherries or raspberries or strawberries in a previously boiled jar and dry. 

Cover them with brandy. Close the jar. Leave to macerate for 6 weeks.

Then open the jars and add the sugar. Leave to macerate for another 6 weeks, stirring fruit from time to time.
