Pain doré avec crème glacée
- 4 slices of white toast bread
- 1 egg
- 1 glass of water Milk
- 1 packet of vanilla
- 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- 250 g (0,55 lbs) strawberries
- 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
- 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
for frying
- sunflower oil
Don't forget to add this special ice cream recipe to your list of recipes. In a bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, vanilla and sugar. Press both sides of the bread slices firmly into this mixture. Transfer a tea glass of sunflower oil to the pan, fry both sides of the bread and leave to cool.
Chop the strawberries and cook them in a saucepan with the sugar until the water evaporates.
Take the breads on the serving plate. Spread the strawberry puree on them. Add a scoop of ice cream and serve.
