Homemade Ginger Ale

  • 2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
  • Cold water
  • Ice
  • Half a teaspoon of dry yeast
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 200 grams ( 0,44 lbs ) of sugar (You can use honey)

Transfer yeast and sugar to a two-liter plastic bottle. Shake the bottle well to mix the ingredients. Also in a bowl, add the lemon juice to the ginger. Mix and add to the sugar yeast in the pet bottle. Close the bottle and shake it again. Pour the water into the bottle leaving some space in the top area. Keep shaking the bottle until the sugar dissolves nicely. Leave the mixture in a warm and shaded place for a day with its mouth closed. Then rest in the refrigerator for another 6 hours. Be careful when opening the cap of the bottle. Strain the drink and transfer to glass, add ice and serve. You can also add lemon slices to the glass if you wish.
