Gâteau aux cerises et au chocolat

 


  • 125 g ( 0,28 lbs ) unsalted butter
  • 125 g ( 0,28 lbs ) dark chocolate
  • 3 eggs
  • 125 g ( 0,28 lbs ) granulated sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup of cherries
  • 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
  • Powdered Sugar


Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie. Beat the butter and add it to the melted chocolate. Separate the yolks from the whites of the eggs. Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt. Beat the egg yolks with sugar in a separate bowl. Add the egg mixture to the chocolate mixture. Stir by aerating with a wooden spoon. Remove the seeds from the cherries and mix them with a tablespoon of granulated sugar. Add the flour and sugared cherries to the mixture. Grease and flour a round cake tin. Pour the mixture into a mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. When the cake has cooled, sprinkle powdered sugar on top and garnish with a cherry and chocolate chips and serve.
